MamaOpe Medicals was honored to participate in the Digital Health Africa 2025 conference, where we shared groundbreaking findings from our Clinical Decision Support System research.

Conference Highlights

The Digital Health Africa 2025 conference, co-hosted by the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), brought together scientists, innovators, and digital health experts to Makerere University. The event focused on harnessing homegrown solutions to address Africa's most pressing health challenges.

Our Presentation

We presented our study findings on the MAMAOPE Clinical Decision Support System, diving deep into important topics including:

Key Insights

One of the key insights from our pilot study is how critical it is to integrate clinical decision support solutions seamlessly with point-of-care diagnostics and daily workflows. Frontline clinicians are managing high patient volumes, extensive documentation, and complex care decisions.

By embedding decision support directly into their workflow, we can enhance primary healthcare outcomes — enabling faster, more accurate diagnoses, reducing cognitive load, and ultimately improving patient care where it matters most.

Collaboration Opportunities

The conference provided excellent opportunities for collaboration with other healthcare innovators and organizations working to improve healthcare delivery across Africa.
